I've recommended this privately but I'll post it here as well.
In order to bring embedded development into the future we are going to need a workspace server like eclipse Che.
Eclipse Che has the potential to be used for professional and hobbyist applications. It will be able to do remote debug, integrate with simulators, etc.
Please consider using it for the next generation online "Compiler"
