The Dust Sensor works by setting the control line low when it detects dust in the air. The program should poll the device for 30 seconds and measure how much of that time the line is set low. Then using a formula specified in the datasheet calculate the concentration in pcs/0.01cf .

Note Make sure that the sensor is in an upright position, the sensor will not work if placed upside down or flat, so make sure that its upright and attached to a vertical surface like a box or wall, see image below for reference. /media/uploads/mbedAustin/img_20180309_131533.jpg
