Can this GPS measure altitude?

I found a data sheet for the EM-406A here: http://www.robotshop.com/media/files/pdf/em406a_v1.0.pdf. It says it can measure altitude up to a max of 18,000 m or 60,000 ft.

GPS will give you altitude but its accuracy is usually around +/- 50 feet, so if you need precision altitude you may need to look at a pressure-based sensor.
