eXport projects dont debug in MicroVision - No debug device found

Exporting simple code for flashing an LED to Microvision worked in the past, if the Debugger settings contained a serial number as shown below:

/media/uploads/haiko/working_mbed_debug_serial_number_ok_.png

however if we exported the same programme on a different PC we would get the following blank Serial number fields

/media/uploads/haiko/working_mbed_debug__blank_seiralnum_-_thus_will_not_work._png.png

in which case the error messages were:

/media/uploads/haiko/working_mbed_error_no_debug_device_found.png

/media/uploads/haiko/working_mbed_error_cancel_dll.png

we can now predict working projects from non working based on the presence of the serial number, but we have no idea why ?

the exported projects compiles under Microvision -Build all - with, no errors no warnings.

I'm not sure where to look,

NOTE: THE SAME MBED BOARD, WORKS ON ANOTHER PC WITHOUT A HITCH. the board is updated .

ANY HELP APPRECIATED.

to sum up: is there some kind of driver that is required to run on Win7 to make the Keil debugger work ? /media/uploads/haiko/working_mbed_debug.png the above with the Serial Number filled in works, when serial number is not filled in, does not work.

problem solved just run mbedWinSerial_16466.exe
