Sector:Industrial

A client in the agriculture industry requested help to design an agricultural grain drying solution, allowing farmers to store grain in a dry state to prevent rotting and early germination of the seed. The consultancy team have developed a drying system that precisely measures moisture levels then dries the grain before it reaches the storage barns to achieve maximum longevity with minimal energy consumption.

  • Mbed OS streamlined event queues, connectivity and example code which just worked out the box, allowing the team to focus on the functionality rather than low level driver code
  • CLI, GCC compiler and the Mbed test framework meant the team was able to launch within 18 months
  • The products are easily programmed on the production line by inserting a USB stick with the new image
