Advanced Modular remote I/O adapter

Summary
  • Connectivity: Ethernet
  • MCU: Arm Cortex M4, 120MHz
  • Memory: 1MB Flash, 256KB RAM
  • Silicon vendor: NXP

Sector: Industrial Overview

The ioThinx 4510 is an advanced modular remote I/O device for a variety of industrial data acquisition applications. The tool-free installation of the ioThinx 4510 reduces the amount of time required for deployment and maintenance in industrial environments. In addition, the ioThinx 4510 Series supports the Modbus RTU Master protocol for retrieving field site data from serial meters and also supports IT/OT protocol conversion.

Users can convert serial data to a variety of protocols, including Modbus TCP, SNMPv1/v2c/v3, MQTT, and RESTful API, allowing field site data to be processed using any of these popular industrial protocols. This two-in-one design reduces system complexity and the amount of space required in the network topology, as well as overall installation time. The ioThinx 4510 extends the useful life of legacy devices by connecting them to Ethernet and enabling access to the devices using a preferred standard protocol.
