Hi Wim,

I tried your code using one of these:

I can't get them to work :(

I even put in the scope to trace the I2C signal and I get the address byte followed by an undecipherable bit of code.

Where am I going wrong?

I selected module 1602A in TextLCD_config.h I tried it using 20x4, 40x2, 16x1 and 16x2 displays.

I tried adresses 0x20, 0x27 0x40, 0x4E and 0x70, 0x7E, 0x30 and 0x38

The chip on my modules reads PHILIPS PCH8574AT.
