RTC problem : it stops when powered down, even with Vbat battry on - can someone help me ?

i have an mbed nxp lpc1768 when powered to 3.3v main supply it works good but when it s only powered with Vbat it seem that the rtc is not counting , it only stores the last value before powering down the main supply

What voltage are you supplying to Vbat?

am using a 3V coin cell with a 10M resistor
