a couple of library questions

Can I have a library that is not visible to the outside world. I imagine my early versions are not worth others wasting their time on.

Do libraries contain only source code or are the .cpp file packaged in compiled form?

Hi Alfred,

On your library page under the "Admin settings" tab, you can select the "Privacy settings" for the library. If you don't want it to visible to the outside world, then you can select "Public (unlisted)" or "Private".

Libraries are distributed as source code. An exception to this is the "mbed" library. However, there is a source version of this available as "mbed-dev".

Hope that helps!

Brian
