mbed to LIN Communication (Local Interconnect Network) - First thoughts

Hello Community,

I think about the implementation of a communication between mbed and LIN. There are just basic ideas and I could need some help.

Has anyone here ever realized a connection from mbed to LIN? Or has a library?

Has anyone ever made thoughts on this? How this communication can be implemented? Do I need a LIN controller and a LIN transceiver or is there a finished component that I can use?

Do a search on the mbed site for "LIN communication" and you will find https://developer.mbed.org/forum/mbed/topic/1951/ Ben Bradbury seems to have done some work, but no posted code yet.

Hey, I've been using the search ;-) I would ask if there is something new on the subject "LIN".

Anyone knows if the UART-outputs can detect break-states?
