Unable to detect

Hi!

I have just bought a Tiny BLE board and I am totally new to this platform.

What I have done so far... I have successfully upgraded the firmware and uploaded the Seeed_Tiny_BLE_Get_Started binary (compiled in mBed website for the Tiny BLE target) to the board.

However, I can't seem to be able to detect the presence of the bluetooth device with 2 IPhone6 or various Android phones (with BT 4.0). Is there any step I have missed out to get this device connected for testing?

I have also updated the libraries in the mBed IDE, hoping that it will resolve the above problem. Compilation failed miserably in both release or beta mode. Seems that every lib that has been updated does not work with this test program. Again, am I missing out any steps or settings to get the test program to compile with the latest libs, or I should avoid updating them in the first place?

Thanks in advance!

How are you trying to detect the Tiny BLE device? Bluetooth LE devices don't usually show up in the iPhone's Bluetooth menu (except for devices with dual mode chip). Use the Nordic's app or LightBlue app or Adafruit Bluefruit LE app to detect your device.
