I want to buy this board to start with mbed. A supplier in holland offers it, but does not know if it's mbed enabled. Are there special versions of this boards which are mbed enabled and which are not?

They are all the same, just needs a firmware update to work properly, which is linked in the platform page.

There is special firmware for mbed? I thought the update firmware was from ST, just the last version, not a "special" mbed version.

You don't need a special mbed version, but you still need the firmware update ;). (At least I have seen enough problems which disapeared with a firmware update).
