Using mbed to receive texts without ISP
We are working on a project. We want to connect the mbed LPC1768 to a wireless router which will only be WLAN capable. Once we do that, we want any device with a wireless adapter to be able to send a "text message" to through the router, to the mbed. The mbed will compile multiple texts, and send them to a dedicated phone, again through the router and its network. Is this possible? Any ideas on how to designate the "addresses" to send to or receive from? Or even if we can communicate to an mbed from our phones on a local network?
