My first program: intial stage in creating a smart doorbell system. Problem: living in an old listed building don\'t want to run wires to the various rooms. So making a system where people are phoned when their doorbell is pressed. Am using a £5 Binatone phone (with 3 memory stores) from Robert Dyas connected through an analogue to voip adapter. Next stage will use use relays to bridge the switches. Here use LEDs to simulate the action, and 3 push switches on a breadboard Any switch will first simuate the lifting of the receiver - followed by one of the 3 memory buttons being activated. Using a short timer at present for call duration - will eventually be longer
