First of all check/update the firmware, see here;

Thanks but I can't copy/paste the firmware because I have just 14Ko of space in the Chip.. (512k in normal case) and the new firmware is 133ko :/
posted by 21 Mar 2019The MCU has 512K but the interface has 2MB available, it's the interface memory where you drop the .if firmware file. When you cycle the power (USB) the firmware is then updated.
If you mount the mbed on your MAC and check properties does it show any files? if so delete everything you can see and cycle the power. With no other files only mbed.htm you should see 1.98MB. As you say if you can connect on a Windows PC try the same and drop in the firmware file if you have the normal amount of memory showing. You may find then it mounts on the MAC as it should.
