What is the recommended Debug connector pinout for a LPC1768

Planning a board layout and I want to have some kind of test connector in case I need hardware debug.

I thought I'd solved this for myself but the reference design schematic doesn't show a type or pin numbers for the small 10 way connector. I'm inclined to put them on a 0.1 inch pitch and accept I'll have to make an adapter

There's a pinout on ARM but it doesn't look like the reference design.

This is one of those things where there are so many standards that there isn't anything that can be considered standard.

Do you have a debugger that you'll be using to connect to the board? If so then use whatever pinout that has.

If not go for one of the ones in the arm documentation and make sure the debugger you get supports it.

As far as I can thell the one in the reference design is almost the "Cortex" one apart from an extra signal where ARM have a missing "keying" pin. I'm going with that, it may never be needed anyway.
